About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- providing high-quality patient care in acute-care settings
- assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- interpreting cardiac rhythms
- administering medications and IV therapies
- collaborating with healthcare teams
- maintaining accurate records
- following infection control and safety protocols
- educating patients and families
- adapting to various hospital units
Qualifications
- active Virginia RN license
- minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
- current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- additional credentials may be needed based on facility requirements
