About the role
PCU Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting, providing high-quality patient care across various units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Following infection-control and patient-safety protocols
- Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans
- Adapting to different hospital environments and units
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility

Pay
Competitive per diem pay, with daily and weekly pay options.
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling with shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Ability to work as little as one shift per month
