About the role
Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation, expanding treatment beds from 27 to 45. The renovation includes highly personalized care areas for families, seniors, and behavioral patients, a 128-slice CT scanner, and an onsite ultrasound suite to enhance care delivery and diagnostic capabilities. As a full-service institution, Trinitas is equipped to provide general and specialized services, including pediatric and obstetric care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, recognize subtle clinical changes, and advocate for patients.
- Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care using strong clinical judgment.
- Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insights for timely, coordinated care decisions.
- Deliver clear, compassionate education to patients and families to ensure they feel informed and supported.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, driving seamless communication and smooth transitions of care.
- Participate in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork impact outcomes.
- Pursue continued professional growth through continuing education, clinical ladder opportunities, and organizational resources.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency care nursing experience.

Pay
$48.29 - $65.06 per hour (anticipated hourly wage range for New Jersey; actual compensation depends on candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience).
