About the role

Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation, expanding treatment beds from 27 to 45. The renovation includes highly personalized care areas for families, seniors, and behavioral patients, a 128-slice CT scanner, and an onsite ultrasound suite to enhance care delivery and diagnostic capabilities. As a full-service institution, Trinitas is equipped to provide general and specialized services, including pediatric and obstetric care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, recognize subtle clinical changes, and advocate for patients.
  • Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care using strong clinical judgment.
  • Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insights for timely, coordinated care decisions.
  • Deliver clear, compassionate education to patients and families to ensure they feel informed and supported.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, driving seamless communication and smooth transitions of care.
  • Participate in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork impact outcomes.
  • Pursue continued professional growth through continuing education, clinical ladder opportunities, and organizational resources.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency care nursing experience.

Pay
