Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Per Diem, Nights

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patient progress, and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop optimal healthcare strategy plans for each patient
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes
• Apply critical thinking to exceed patient expectations
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
• BLS Certification
• Emergency Department experience required
• Must be available to work at least 32 hours per six-week block, with 12 of those hours on a weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Must be available to work at least one Winter Holiday and one Summer Holiday per year

Qualifications

• At least one year of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting (preferred)
• ACLS and PALS Certification (required within 6 weeks of hire)
• TNCC Certification (preferred)

Pay

$36.93 - $80.96 per hour. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement; compensation is governed by its terms.
