Registered Nurse (RN) / Per Diem Days

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Wheeling (located inside Wheeling Hospital, 2nd floor) Schedule: Per Diem/ PRN, 6am - 6:30pm, Day Shift Compensation: $46.00 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends Sign-on bonus: $5,000 Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Responsibilities Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unitInitial and ongoing systematic patient assessmentTimely and accurate documentation using appropriate systemsInterpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetryEnsure medical orders are transcribed and processed accuratelyCompetence in Rapid Response and code eventsInstruct and counsel patients/familiesPerforms other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Valid State RN License BLS is required at hire.
