About the role

Ambulatory Registered Nurses at AMG are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They manage patient teaching, communication, triage, and documentation in Epic. They ensure patient safety, privacy, and timely response to clinical needs. They collaborate with the care team, support quality improvement, promote evidence-based practice, and uphold PRIDE values and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Manages patient teaching, communication, triage, and documentation in Epic.
• Ensures patient safety, privacy, and timely response to clinical needs.
• Collaborates with the care team, supports quality improvement, promotes evidence-based practice, and upholds PRIDE values and organizational goals.
• Coordinates and completes patient assessment and re-assessment to positively impact on quality outcomes.
• Absolutely responds to patients/families in a courteous, positive, and timely manner.
• Fosters a positive and pleasant environment, which promotes our shared PRIDE values.
• Promotes better patient outcomes by reviewing open gaps of care and coordinating closure of care gaps.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Interacts directly with patients and team members, documents in Epic as appropriate.

• Reviews and appropriately disseminates labs based on acuity.
