Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem

About the Role

Responsible for overseeing nursing care for residents in alignment with a person-directed care philosophy, ensuring a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Supervises nursing staff, provides training, and maintains medical records. Develops care assignments, monitors resident needs, evaluates conditions, and facilitates participation in care decisions. Responds to emergencies, implements physician orders, and documents interventions. Engages in resident and family education, assists with move-in and move-out procedures, and fosters strong relationships with residents.

• Communicates with residents, families, and staff to promote satisfaction and quality care
• Participates in administrative and disciplinary processes
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents through personal engagement

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed RN with current license
• Completion of accredited nursing program; BS degree preferred
• Minimum one year of managerial experience in a related field (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency with electronic health records
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
