Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides care and directs the staff to follow the resident plan of care as determined by the Unit Manager. They are committed to providing preventative and restorative care to all residents and clients.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications/treatments and keeps detailed documentation in accordance with Rockingham County policies and State/Federal requirements.
• Transcribes and carries out medical orders.
• Affirms and identifies any changes in resident status.
• Keeps open communication with the Unit Manager/Nursing Supervisors regarding significant issues; i.e. change in resident’s condition, environment, personnel, or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Hampshire RN license.
• 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Benefits

• Shift Differential: 2nd Shift: $4.00/hour, 3rd Shift: $5.00/hour, Weekend Premium: $2.00/hour.

Pay

• 2nd Shift: $4.00/hour
• 3rd Shift: $5.00/hour
• Weekend Premium: $2.00/hour

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM
• Weekends: Additional premium pay

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
