Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville West is a critical illness recovery hospital. The position requires RNs to provide compassionate care to patients during their most vulnerable moments.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient health status and report changes to healthcare team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN license in good standing with the state of Tennessee
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer systems used for patient care documentation

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
