Registered Nurse (RN) - PEDS ER Full Time Nights

Qualifications
- Required:
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- PREFERRED:
- 2 years ED experience and/or other relevant nursing experience
- Med./Surg. Telemetry or PEDS ER experience
- CEN Certification
- Night shift, 7p-7:30a - 36 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards
- Affirms safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence-based practice
- Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors
- Knowledge of the patient population served
- Supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers
- Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement
- Individual practitioner and the interdisciplinary team manager, utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs
