Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient and family education on infectious diseases and prevention
- Triage patient calls and assess care needs
- Administer prescribed and travel-related vaccinations
- Track and report infectious disease trends in the community
- Collaborate with physicians and public health agencies to support effective treatment plans
Schedule
Part-time, 20 hours per week. Schedule: Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., within standard clinical hours.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
