Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Care Center (Part Time)

About the role

The Pediatric Care Center RN will gain experience caring for children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses like RSV, sepsis, asthma, broken bones, GI illnesses, head or body injuries, high fever and infections, abdominal pain and more.

Responsibilities

• Care for children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses
• Work in a 14-bed setting with a mix of emergency and general pediatric acute care beds
• Provide care in a newly built 24/7 Pediatric Care Center

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
• Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire

• Specialty: Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Licensure: Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• Certification: BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
