Registered Nurse - Pediatrics - Part Time

About the role

The pediatric registered nurse at CoxHealth South will provide care to infants, children, and adolescents. This position involves assessing, planning, and providing nursing care for children dealing with various health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health needs and develop care plans
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Qualifications

• Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• Must obtain PALS within one year of hire
