Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric BMT

About the role

This position will be working 0.6 FTE (60 hours) every two weeks on the Night shift, 8 hour shifts and every other weekend. Fairview offers a nurse residency program for eligible new graduate RNs taking this role with the organization!

Responsibilities

• Provides complex care to pediatric patient/families preparing for and undergoing blood and marrow transplantation, pediatric hematology-oncology, urology, blood and marrow, metabolic, and gastrointestinal disorders
• Performs advanced monitoring using current technology
• Manages sophisticated medication and infusion therapies
• Cares for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit
• Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment

Requirements

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• 1+ years of Acute RN, Inpatient Pediatric BMT and/or Heme/Onc Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Chemo Certified
• Pediatric, BMT, or Heme/Onc Certifications
• IMC Vent Training or Enrolled

Skills

• Ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment

Pay
