Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU | Cardiac Tower | Full-Time | Multiple Shifts

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wausau, WI to recruit Registered Nurses (RNs) for a newly expanded, state-of-the-art Cardiac Tower and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to complex cardiothoracic and post‑surgical patients
• Monitor high‑acuity patients and recognize changes in condition
• Manage IV drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced telemetry
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver patient‑centered care focused on quality outcomes

Requirements

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or compact‑state eligibility
• Interest in cardiac, high‑acuity, or critical care nursing
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred; training may be available if needed
• New graduate and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply
