Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU
About the Role
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Responsibilities
- Manage titratable cardiac drips, bi-pap, post-op, and post-ICU patients
- Monitor telemetry for all patients 24/7
- Collaborate with cardiologists, hospitalist teams, and other disciplines
- Participate in shared governance, continuing education, and professional certification
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS recommended within 6 months of hire

About the Team
Atrium Cleveland Progressive Care Units consists of 64 beds (32 per unit) serving cardiac, medical, and surgical patients. Our unit is fast-paced and requires strong critical thinking abilities, organization, and prioritization. We encourage professional development through participation in shared governance, continuing education, and professional certification.
