Registered Nurse (RN) - Patient Flow Coordinator

About the Role

The flow coordinator ensures the safe and efficient operation of Cath & EP Labs by managing patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and collaboration with physicians and support staff. They promote quality patient care, support staff performance, and assist with educational activities and equipment troubleshooting. The role requires active participation during procedures and adherence to policies to maintain a professional clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with interventional cardiac procedures
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (required upon hire)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and invasive interventions
• Excellent communication, multitasking, delegation, and customer service skills
• Ability to work under stress, prioritize, and assess staff skill levels
