Job Description
The Registered Nurse at Singing River Health System is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. The position requires a graduate degree from an NLN School of Nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi, and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and others depending on the specialty area.
- Minimum of one (1) year of inpatient clinical experience, preferred.
- Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days).
- Must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.
Qualifications
The Registered Nurse must be able to work schedules assigned with the understanding that changes may be instituted according to the needs of the hospital for off days, shifts or weekends. They must also be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintain collaborative and respectable working relationships, and demonstrate superior communication and customer service skills.

Schedule
