Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time - Evening - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

About the role

The Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for an evening shift from 6p-10p (4 Hours), with an every other weekend and holiday rotation. The position is located at Tabitha, which is now part of Eventide. For more information, visit this link.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills physician’s orders in accordance with Eventide's policies and procedures.
• Prepares, administers, and/or supervises the administration of medication, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies and procedures.
• Observes seniors/clients for adverse reactions to medications and assesses their physical, mental, and psychosocial status.
• Takes and accurately records vital signs.
• Diligently observes seniors/clients for signs of pressure ulcers and takes preventive measures.
• Completes procedures and documents the appropriate information on the senior/client’s medical record in a timely manner.
• Monitors Med Aides delivering medications to seniors/clients and follows through on the comprehensive care plan.
• Supervises and educates seniors/clients on the self-administration of medications, when applicable.
• Aids in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care and updates it based on changes in the senior/client's physical and/or emotional state.

Requirements

• At least age 18.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred.
• RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required.
• CPR Required.

Qualifications

• Licenses/credentials must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee.
• Must meet Eventide's vaccination requirements.

Pay

Compensation at Eventide includes a competitive starting pay range of $36-$40.32 per hour for RN's and $29.00-$32.48 per hour for LPN's, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
