Part-Time - Evening - Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

About the role

The Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available for an evening shift from 6p-10p (4 Hours), with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities

• Fulfills physician’s orders in accordance with Eventide’s policies and procedures.
• Prepares, administers, and/or supervises the administration of medication, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
• Monitors seniors/clients for adverse reactions to medications and assesses their physical, mental, and psychosocial status.
• Takes and accurately records vital signs.
• Observes and documents the senior/client’s skin to prevent pressure ulcers, following Eventide’s policies.
• Completes procedures and documents the appropriate information on the senior/client’s medical record in a timely manner.
• Supervises and educates Med Aides in the delivery of medications to seniors/clients.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan for each senior/client, updating it based on changes in their physical and/or emotional state.

Requirements

• At least age 18.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred.
• RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required.
• CPR Required.

Qualifications

• Licenses/credentials must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee.
• Must meet Eventide's vaccination requirements.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.

Pay

The starting pay range for RN's is $36-$40.32 per hour, while for LPN's it is $29.00-$32.48 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
