Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU/Pre-op

About the role

This role involves providing patient-centered care in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center, working within collaborative interdisciplinary teams under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and medical staff directives.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• Leadership skills with willingness to take on projects and departmental tasks
