Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU/Pre-op

About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a busy outpatient ambulatory surgery center. You will work in a dynamic environment focused on exceptional patient care and professional growth within a comprehensive healthcare network.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Utilize the nursing process to ensure high-quality care and support patient recovery.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Highly motivated, energetic, organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Leadership skills and willingness to take on projects are desirable.
