About the role
Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Promote patient and family-centered care
- Educate patients on post-treatment management
- Ensure communication across care continuum
- Participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Care for post-op patients including neuro, transplant, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine cases
- Work in a fast-paced environment with world-renowned surgeons and anesthesiologists
- Participate in innovative initiatives like hybrid surgical care and regional anesthesia
Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing diploma or associate's degree (bachelor's preferred)
- Experience in critical care is preferred but not required
