About the role
Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse, RN, specifically for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Responsibilities
- Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
- Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
- Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
- Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
Requirements
- A current state RN license.
- An associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Current state RN license.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Skills
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately.
- Experience in implementing and revising care plans.
- Knowledge of age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
