Registered Nurse (RN) PACU 24 Hours Days

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse patient population from various specialties including general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology, and urology.
• Enjoy active collaboration with a variety of multidisciplinary services.
• Provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care in an environment of rapid patient turnover.
• Utilize EPIC for patient assessment and care documentation, and electronic medication administration.
• Work in the Post Ambulatory Care Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of previous nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required.
• Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred.
• Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a PC.
• Lift 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $95.37 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, and geographic location.

Schedule

Shifts vary but typically include days, nights, and weekends. Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
