Responsibilities
- Care for a diverse patient population from various specialties including general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology, and urology.
- Enjoy active collaboration with a variety of multidisciplinary services.
- Provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care in an environment of rapid patient turnover.
- Utilize EPIC for patient assessment and care documentation, and electronic medication administration.
- Work in the Post Ambulatory Care Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of previous nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required.
- Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred.
- Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a PC.
- Lift 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $95.37 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, and geographic location.
