Registered Nurse - PACU (35 Hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Boston Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Recovers pediatric patients from surgery/procedure.
• Prepares pediatric patients for surgery on the day of surgery/procedure.
• Works collaboratively in a family-centered environment.
• Performs developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions.
• Collaborates with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience.
• PACU/Critical Care experience preferred.
• Post-surgical care experience preferred.
• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Schedule

Primarily 10-hour shifts, with rotating day start times.

Pay

The posted pay range reflects Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this role at the time of posting. Base pay offers depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
