Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Cardiology Clinic (CV)

About the role

In the Coordinated Clinic, you will treat an outpatient population with a variety of cardiac specialties. Specialties include Heart Failure, Lipid, Chest Pain, Cardiac Oncology, Watchman/Afib, Structural Heart, Adult Congenital, and Advanced Heart Failure.

Responsibilities

• Treating outpatient population with a variety of cardiac specialties
• Performing tasks such as drawing labs, starting IV's, administering medication, and monitoring for response
• Administering EKGs and providing patient education

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• 2 years of nursing experience on cardiac telemetry, ICU or ED required

Pay

Compensation - Base compensation within the position’s pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate’s job. Incentive pay for select positions. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
