About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Orthopedics to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans within specified timeframes
- Performing patient interventions with proficiency and age-specific competency
- Providing emergency treatment when necessary
- Verifying orders, medication reconciliation, scheduling tests/procedures, and ensuring consent accuracy during hospitalization
- Administering medications and IV therapies following policies, monitoring for adverse reactions, and ensuring patient safety
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to promote quality care
- Performing related duties as required
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Valid Multi-State RN License (or applying within 30 days if from a Compact state)
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (within 7 days of hire)
- Basic Rhythms certification within orientation
- Relevant clinical experience as determined acceptable
