Job Summary
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience caring for tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients in a home health setting.
About the role
Pediatric home health nursing at Care Options for Kids is intentionally different. Nurses provide dedicated, one-on-one care in the home, allowing them to focus fully on their patient and use their clinical judgment with confidence. The role involves caring for pediatric patients with high acuity needs while building consistent relationships with both the child and their family.
Responsibilities
- Care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs
- Build consistent relationships with both the child and their family
- Practice nursing with focus, purpose, and support
- Provide dedicated, one-on-one care in the home
- Use clinical judgment with confidence
- Deliver skilled nursing in a calm, controlled environment
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey RN License or Multistate License
- Physical from within three years
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train
