About the Role

The registered nurse provides professional nursing care to patients and families, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Administers medications and treatments following nursing standards.
  • Prepares equipment and assists providers during procedures and examinations.
  • Monitors, records, and reports patient conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Schedules appointments, manages patient flow, and prioritizes emergency cases.
  • Gathers patient health history, takes vitals, conducts assessments, and documents information.
  • Responds to patient calls, educates families on health topics, and addresses care concerns.
  • Maintains exam rooms, ensures cleanliness, and manages medical supplies.
  • Labels pathology specimens and performs quality control on lab tests.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Effective communication skills and visual acuity for position duties.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, safety standards, and professional standards.
