Lee Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Orthopedics for a nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and documents patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and coordinates nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Serves as a role model for the organization’s vision and mission.
- Uses knowledge of patients’ age and cultural diversity to provide patient care.
- Improves patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
- Experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
