Registered Nurse (RN), OR, Outpatient Surgery Center

About the role

AHWFB Outpatient Surgery is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center featuring eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Our services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery. In the OR and PreOp/PACU, our RNs lead with compassion, providing top-tier care in an ambulatory setting where patients and families are always at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of one-year Operating Room experience.
• Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
• BSN preferred for Ambulatory Surgery Facility.
• Two years of acute care experience required for clinics.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year Operating Room experience.

• Two years of acute care experience required for clinics.

Pay

$35.50 - $53.25 per hour

Schedule

4-10 hour shifts per week Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends, holidays or call.
