About the role

Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center is an ACS level IV Trauma Center with a total of 10 surgical suites. The hospital offers advanced imaging modalities including Stryker 4K 1588 Advanced Imaging Modalities (AIM), top-of-the-line ENT navigation, and orthopedic MIS spine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quality outcomes by conducting patient assessments and developing nursing care plans.
• Apply sound judgment and clinical expertise to execute critical nursing interventions for all populations.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care.
• Develop and revise the plan of care based on patient needs and evaluation of patient status.
• Delegate tasks and provide supervision to other licensed nurses and healthcare personnel.
• Evaluate patient progress towards goals and effectiveness of teaching.
• Communicate patient status accurately and promptly to other caregivers.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to society through activities that improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which you work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.

Benefits

• Flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
• 18%-night shift differential when applicable.
