Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full- Time Overnight Shift - Every 3rd Weekend. Eventide Sheyenne Crossings!

About the role

The Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo, ND, is seeking a Full-time RN or LPN to work on a 3rd weekend night shift schedule (72 hours per pay period).

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents' needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Provides individual attention to encourage each resident's ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Observes and follows residents' plans of care, updating and making appropriate changes as necessary.
• Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents as needed, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complies with relevant regulations and maintains accurate documentation in residents' electronic medical records.
• Aids in the orientation and training of new team members.
• Reports resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels and corrects inadequate staffing issues.
• Monitors the activities and functions of subordinate staff, including participating in the disciplinary process.
• Ensures work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Communicates resident needs to resident care staff and interacts with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed.
• Updates nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
• Participates in resident care conferences and communicates information effectively to families.
• Prompts reporting of any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violations of residents' rights.

Requirements

• Active ND LPN or RN license or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $36 - $40.32 for RNs and $29 - $32.48 for LPNs per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.

Schedule

This position works on a 3rd weekend night shift schedule (72 hours per pay period), with a holiday rotation included.

Additional Information

Eventide also offers an overnight shift differential of $5 per hour and a weekend shift differential of $2 per hour, added to the base wage.
