Position Highlights
- 4.5 days/week float position
- RN pay range: $27.75–$41.25 per hour
- LPN pay range: $22.50–$31.50 per hour
About the Role
Provides professional nursing care under the direction of the provider as part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Performs general nursing care to patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Coordinates patient care activities for the clinic.
- Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing.
- Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
- Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations; maintains timely patient flow.
- Greets patients and prepares them for physical examination; screens patients for health history and vitals.
- Documents obtained information in patient chart.
- Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
- Responds to patient phone calls in a timely manner with appropriate input from the physician.
- Educates patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
- Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints.
- Maintains exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensures cleanliness.
- Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
- Assures appropriate labeling of pathology specimens according to lab protocol.
- Performs quality control and maintains records on all lab testing.
Requirements
- Must be able to work the specified hours.
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of practice.
