Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

About the role

A collaborative, patient-centered care environment where you will develop and implement individualized care plans addressing patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practices to create and execute care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery and patient safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate complex information effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN degree.
• Two or more years of experience in specific clinical areas.
• Certifications such as CNOR.
