Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Maintains a safe environment.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances throughout the perioperative process.
- Assists patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
Applicants should have a current RN VA or compact state license and possess an associate's degree in nursing. Additional Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Experience as an OR RN required
Qualifications
Hourly range: $31.49 - $42.51 per hour

Pay
$20,000 sign on bonus eligibility
Schedule
Monday-Friday, typically 8-hour shifts - Rotating call schedule: 11 AM - 7:30 PM with rotating call requirements. Schedule subject to change based on department and patient care needs.
