Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation Unit

About the role

Our patient population includes general medical and cardiac health issues such as syncope, CHF exacerbation, chest pain, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, nausea/vomiting, dehydration, and post-PCI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols and standards
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology

• Proficient in electronic health record systems

Pay

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour

Schedule

1-12 hour shift per week, 1 weekend shift per month
