About the Role

Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Nurse Executive, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers efficient, high-quality, and effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and high patient/family satisfaction. The RN operates within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and delegates appropriate care responsibilities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The RN manages comprehensive patient care through physical assessments, nursing diagnoses, care plan development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, administer medications/treatments, and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient recovery and minimize re-hospitalizations.
  • Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and CNAs in accordance with state practice acts, fostering a supportive and safe clinical environment.
  • Work closely with attending physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to manage care plans and ensure safe discharge planning.
  • Assist with the orientation, training, and clinical mentorship of newly hired nursing staff to support team growth.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation utilizing PointClickCare (PCC) EHR software.
  • Adhere to HIPAA standards, infection control protocols, and facility safety guidelines to maintain high-quality care.
  • Champion teamwork and uplift those around you.
  • Perform at the highest level while continually striving for professional growth and clinical improvement.
  • Share knowledge to mentor peers and elevate the entire interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing - ADN, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN).
  • Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS / CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
  • Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing is preferred, but strong clinical foundational skills are welcome.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure clear clinical documentation and patient safety.
  • Must fulfill required health screenings, including Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) verification as mandated by state guidelines.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr.
