Registered Nurse (RN), OB PRN

Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Aids patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
- One-year medical surgical experience.
- Three-years OB experience.
- NRP, AWHONN, EFM, STABLE and PEOP (within 6 months).
- Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.
Qualifications
- Must pick up 2 shifts per schedule and 2 holidays per year.
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of obstetric care and procedures.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Pay
Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
12-hour Varied shifts/pp, (7-7).
