Job Requirements

• SIGN ON BONUS $5,000.00 for New Graduates; $10,000.00 for Experienced RNs

• Documents all aspects of patient care

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and hospital associates
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises plan of care
• Coordinates, provides, and directs patient teaching activities
• Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration
• Initiates and directs patient teaching activities
• Provides a safe patient care environment
• Responsible for demonstrating competencies for new equipment, procedures, and annual competency validation
• Completes hospital and unit-based orientation programs and annual competencies
• Formulates a plan for personal professional growth
• Serves on unit-based committees and as assigned
• Prioritizes nursing interventions for an assigned group of patients
• Assesses, critically thinks, and provides quality patient care
• Interacts and communicates professionally with patients from all age groups, diverse backgrounds, and varying educational levels
• Manages and stabilizes emergencies until provider responds
• Demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing practice and theory
• Affirms continuity of care through effective decision making
• Supports patient experience initiatives
• Participates in purposeful rounding, bedside shift reports, and huddles
• Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with clinical expectations regarding regulatory agency requirements
• Complies with current policies and procedures
