Registered Nurse (RN), Night Part-Time

Location: Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living, a 103-acre continuing care retirement community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) promotes, restores, and maintains residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RN’s primary role is to provide physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs while placing the resident first.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by establishing care goals, teaching residents/family members about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor residents' clinical and care conditions to identify changes in status and act to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work alongside care associates to perform routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive holistic plan of care to meet residents' clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support residents' preferences, routines, and choices in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by the Clinical Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Pay

$40–$49/hour, depending on years of experience, plus shift differential.

Schedule

11 p.m.–7 a.m., 1 weekday and every other weekend in Skilled Nursing.
