About the role
Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment.
Responsibilities
- Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
- Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
- Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
- Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.
- Assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
- Valid State RN License required.
- BLS required at hire.
- Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
- A valid state RN license is required.
- BLS certification is required at the time of hire.

Pay
Compensation starting at $36.00 per hour for New Grads. Sign-on bonus of $20,000.00 available.
Schedule
Three 12-hour shifts per week.
