Registered Nurse - RN - Neuroscience Unit
About the role
Trinity Health Grand Rapids' Hauenstein 3 (H3) is an innovative 34-bed mixed acuity Neuroscience Medical Surgical Unit able to care for low acuity up to non-intubated critical care patients. On H3, we pride ourselves on the neuroscience nursing specialty, focusing on the unique expertise needed to care for this specialized patient population. The nurses on this unit care for a wide range of patients who have undergone complex neurological surgeries and procedures as well as trauma. We are also a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and therefore care for newly diagnosed stroke patients in need of emergent thrombolytic and neuro interventional treatment. Additionally, H3 contains an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit which provides these patients all types of medical and surgical care options. On H3, specialized training and education is provided during a comprehensive orientation and available thereafter continually for neuro nursing expertise. Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings. By finding common ground and embracing our differences, we grow stronger together and deliver more compassionate, person‑centered care.
