Description

Position Purpose: At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status.
  • Aid in hyperacute and acute treatment and support.
  • Encourage rehabilitation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
  • Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
  • Certification: BLS required.

    • Work Schedule: Part time, 24-Night shifts.
    • Additional Info: Specialized 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center Certification (TSC).
