Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients recovering from stroke and neurological disorders
• Support patient safety and promote healing
• Collaborate with the healthcare team
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols, including PPE usage
• Foster meaningful relationships with patients and families to enhance care outcomes
• Provide specialized neuro and medical-surgical nursing care
• Support patients of all ages
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of a graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current NYS RN license
• Relevant clinical experience

Skills

• Preferred BSN
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking, standing, and lifting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
