About the role

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neuro Progressive Care unit, providing advanced, patient-centered care for stroke and seizure patients in a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role involves working closely with neurology teams in a 16-bed unit focused on stroke and seizure patients, emphasizing quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor for changes during admission and shifts.
• Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, while documenting care thoroughly.
• Collaborate with medical providers to deliver high-quality care and support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• RN license with a diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care, procedures, and equipment.
