About the role
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
- Provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.
- Works closely with the stroke team and Neurology team.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN).
Qualifications
- Designated by The Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and by the State of Missouri as a Level 1 Time Critical Diagnosis Center of Excellence.
- Treats more than 1,200 stroke patients each year from the Kansas City area and surrounding regions.
- Recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association for Gold Plus stroke standards.
Skills
