Registered Nurse, (RN) - Neuro

About the role

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, RN to join the 2 North Med Surg/Telemetry: Neuro unit. This unit specializes in caring for patients with neurological needs and operates with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
