The Medical/Surgical IU 4 East is a dynamic 32-bed unit specializing in neurological disorders, neurosurgical care, general medical-surgical, stroke, and trauma care. The team provides high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and effective communication to lead efforts for the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met.
- Advocate for patient needs and uphold professional practice standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

4 east is a dynamic 32-bed unit that specializes in caring for patients with Neurological disorders and patients that are requiring Neurosurgical pre and post-operative care. Additionally, 4 east also cares for patients with general medical-surgical, stroke and trauma care needs.
